Install Ubuntu Tweak to config your Ubuntu easily. Ubuntu tweak is a small application that makes configuring Ubuntu easier and trouble-free

It provides many useful desktop and system options that the default desktop environment doesn't provide.

Here is the  step-by-step guide for how to install Ubuntu Tweak in your system

Step 1: Add the PPA

Open the terminal. Add the required repository with the command:

For Ubuntu 11.10

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/next

For Ubuntu 11.04 and below

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa

Update the software list with the command:

sudo apt-get update

Step 2: Install Ubuntu Tweak

You can use either the Ubuntu software centre or the Synaptic package manager or terminal to install the Ubuntu Tweak

Ubuntu Software Center/Synaptic:

Search for Ubuntu-tweak, then click install.

Command-Line (Terminal):

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-tweak
